FACTS Tuition Set Up

Remember, this is part of your tuition and is not an additional fee.

Returning families will have a $10 FACTS online fee to re-enroll.

Please be sure to complete the Grant & Aid form if you would like to be considered for scholarships in addition to SB10. We have extended this deadline from April 1 to April 15.  There is a $35 fee for applying.

By completing enrollment and setting up payment plan in FACTS you will secure your child’s slot.

Re-enrollment for 20/21 School Year

If you do not plan to re-enroll, please let us know by April 1 so we can plan accordingly.  If there have been any changes to your contact, medical, or payment information, please make changes in FACTS.

Due APRIL 15

You can complete the Grant & Aid application through the application/ enrollment process. There is a $35 charge to file the Grant & Aid request that is a one time fee for all FACTS schools for the academic year.

There are two steps to the process:

  1. The Brookwood Christian School Financial Aid Request should be printed, completed, and returned to the Admissions Office, and
  2. The FACTS Grant & Aid On-line Application must be completed, including submission of all financial aid documents from all custodial, non-custodial and step-parents (including uploaded 2018 Federal Tax Returns, all supporting schedules and forms, and W-2’s or 1099’s). You can follow the link above or complete it as part of the enrollment/re-enrollment form. You do not need to complete it twice.

It is the responsibility of the parent(s) to track the financial aid application from start to finish. Failing to provide the required information, not following the guidelines, or missing the April 1, 2020 extended April 15, 2020 deadline may result in not be considered for assistance.

There is an online $35 application fee for the FACTS Grant and Aid Application, but this will be credited toward your tuition IF you are approved for aid.  You DO NOT have to complete the FACTS Grant & Aid Application for the GSNS/sb10 scholarship, the donation discount, or the sibling discount. You MUST complete the forms for the Apogee Tax Credit Scholarship and any additional discounts or scholarships.

Due MAY 3:

Signed Financial Contract 2020/21 & Agreement Forms

(These were sent home April 3, you can print blank forms HERE)

We will let you know before April 30 if you were approved for extra financial aid and what your final cost will be. The $500 commitment deposit goes toward next year’s tuition if paid by June 20 (this has been extended two months). This fee allows us to order consumable materials and books for next year and is not refundable. This fee shows us that you are committed to enrolling your child in BCS next year and that we are safe to hire staff and buy materials accordingly.

$500 Commitment Deposit paid through FACTS by June 20

Families who apply and set up a 12 month payment plan, beginning June 2020, will not have to pre-pay $500 and will have the fee absorbed throughout the 2020-2021 payments.  Families who pay in full by June 20, 2020 get the “pay in full discount” increased from $300 to $500.  Families starting a payment plan in August can now pay the $500 prepayment by the later date of June 20 to secure a slot, then begin regular tuition payments in August.

Anyone who gets any discount or tax credit scholarship must fill out the Financial Aid Request paper and online application. See above or click HERE.

The Apogee cap has not been met for 2020 Georgia Tax Credit Scholarship so you can still pledge to make a donation.  We divide all Apogee money between students who are eligible and have completed financial aid information. Only students who have once gone to public school are eligible.  By law, we are not allowed to apply your whole contribution solely to your child’s tuition.

Tuition will be $19,500 for the 2020/21 school year.  Even though tuition is increasing by $1,000 it is still significantly less than the cost of other schools with a comparable program.  It looks like the SB10/GSNS scholarship will increase again next year, so most families will only see about a $500 increase in the amount you actually pay in comparison to last year.  We have not heard of any upcoming education budget cuts, but if the state education budget is cut, the SB10 scholarship will be cut by the same percentage.

Please email KIM if you have any questions.

As always, please pray for God’s guidance for our school.  Thanks for working as a team with our staff and students to make our school great.
