Financial Assistance

Our mission, at Brookwood Christian School, is to serve students who have not been successful in public or private schools due to their unique learning needs. The school’s specialized and tailored curriculum is designed to compensate for or overcome dyslexia and the other learning disorders. Because of our students’ inability to function in a normal school setting, we offer specialized methods and materials recommended by doctors, occupational therapists, and speech language pathologists.

We strive to keep our tuition as low as possible, but we understand the sacrifices families make to send their child to our school, and tuition may represent an expense beyond the reach for some. A limited amount of need-based financial aid is available.

Financial Aid Procedures

To help us determine what a family is able to contribute to their child’s education, Brookwood Christian utilizes the FACTS Grant & Aid(PDF) as a trusted third party that also manages our tuition. Please know that the FACTS analysis is NOT the only information considered when determining a financial aid award decision. Our financial aid committee will take into account unexpected family financial situations, the need of our entire applicant pool, and the availability of funds.

To be considered for financial assistance for the 2022-2023 school year, submission of all financial aid documents from all custodial, non-custodial and step-parents (including uploaded 2020 Federal Tax Returns, all supporting schedules and forms, and W-2’s or 1099’s).

Financial aid is reviewed annually, requiring all recipients of past aid awards to re-apply for the 2022-2023 school year. Financial assistance is subject to availability of funding.

This process is NOT required for the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship Program, this scholarship eligibility and amount is determined by the State of Georgia.

This IS REQUIRED to receive the Georgia Tax Credit Scholarship.

You can complete the Grant & Aid application through the application/ enrollment process OR you can complete it HERE. There is a $40 charge to file the Grant & Aid request that is a one time fee for all FACTS schools for the academic year.

The FACTS Grant & Aid On-line Application must be completed, including submission of all financial aid documents from all custodial, non-custodial and step-parents (including uploaded 2020 Federal Tax Returns, all supporting schedules and forms, and W-2’s or 1099’s). You can follow the link above or complete it as part of the enrollment/re-enrollment form. You do not need to complete it twice.

If you are having issues with anything regarding the tuition side of FACTS, you will need to call customer support, as federal banking security laws seriously restrict what we are allowed to do on the that side.

It is the responsibility of the parent(s) to track the financial aid application from start to finish. Failing to provide the required information, not following the guidelines may result in not be
considered for assistance.
