At Brookwood Christian we utilize the FACTS School Management System for Admissions, Enrollment, Student Information, Communications, Tuition Management, Grant & Aid, Gradebook & Attendance Management, Learning Management System (LMS), and Charitable Giving.
You can access anything pertaining to your student through the Family Portal, and students also have logins to their daily lessons, gradebook, etc. This is where you can see grades, attendance, report cards, etc.
This is also where you will register for a new school year as well as set up tuition and other payments.

We use FACTS for our online admissions process. This makes it easier for families to apply and submit necessary documents without having to leave their homes. This process is only necessary for the first year which greatly streamlines re-enrollment registration.
FACTS Registration & Enrollment makes it easier for families to enroll and then subsequently register for subsequent school years. No more filling out the same repetitive information each year, or for multiple students. The information will automatically populate from the application or from the previous year’s enrollment. All you need to do is make any address changes, etc.
We strive to keep our tuition as low as possible, but we understand the sacrifices families make to send their child to our school, and tuition may represent an expense beyond the reach for some. A limited amount of need-based financial aid is available.
To help us determine what a family is able to contribute to their child’s education, we use the FACTS Grant & Aid (PDF) as a trusted third party that also manages our tuition. This analysis is NOT the only information considered when determining a financial aid award decision. Our financial aid committee will take into account unexpected family financial situations, the need of our entire applicant pool, and the availability of funds.
This process does NOT apply for the Georgia Special Needs Scholarship (GSNS). This scholarship is run by, and scholarship amounts are determined by the Georgia Department of Education. BCS makes no determination on eligibility or amount.
Research shows that SMS open rates are as high as 98%, compared to just 20% of all emails. And, on average, it takes 90 seconds for someone to respond to a text and 90 minutes (or longer) to respond to an email.
Because of this, we send out time sensitive information via our Parent Alert System, which is part of our Emergency Alert System.

Selecting the Emergency option will override Family Individual Preferences.
Parents who have replied “STOP” to a text sent by the school have blocked messages with their cell provider and will not receive texts.
Please note that regular Parent Alerts are sent with reminders, school closings, inclement weather, and traffic advisories that may be time sensitive and get buried in email. Please be sure your settings allow for these alerts. You can do this at any time in the family portal, and will be prompted to check settings during registration. We all check our texts faster than email
We test our Emergency Alert System in the fall, after school hours, never during the actual school day. We will NEVER send an Emergency Alert for weather, traffic, or closings, only for actual EMERGENCY situations.
